Ivaldo Basso, Operating Advisor, brings over 30 years of experience in the alternative investments industry to his role at New Catalyst. He specializes in operational excellence, compliance infrastructure, and operational due diligence. Ivaldo is the Chief Financial Officer at Permanent Capital.

Ivaldo’s 30 years of alternative investment experience includes having served as GCM Grosvenor’s Chief Financial Officer, Head of Operational Due Diligence and Operations Committee member. Prior to joining GCM Grosvenor, Ivaldo served a broad range of financial services industry organizations as senior manager at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen.

Ivaldo holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
