Full Biography
Dr. Laura Sanchez-Greenberg serves as an Operating Advisor to New Catalyst, bringing more than two decades of experience helping leaders and organizations improve performance. She works with New Catalyst and its GP partners to strengthen leadership effectiveness, team performance, and the organizational practices that support sustained results.
As Founder and Managing Partner of Verde Associates, Dr. Sanchez-Greenberg advises private equity and venture capital firms, founders, CEOs, and senior leaders. Her work is grounded in evidence-based approaches to leadership and organizational performance, drawing from behavioral science, organizational development, and applied research.
Dr. Sanchez-Greenberg’s academic work has focused on leadership, organizational effectiveness, and value creation. She holds a Ph.D. in Values-Based Leadership and a master’s degree in organizational development from Benedictine University, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in from Northern Illinois University. As an active scholar-practitioner, she continually integrates emerging research and leading practices into her work. She is a certified executive coach with advanced coaching certification from Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education, and has completed advanced studies in change management, organizational design, group dynamics, negotiation, and mediation. She is certified in more than 50 leadership, personality, team, and organizational assessments, including some of the leading organizational assessment instruments in the industry.
Prior to founding Verde Associates, Dr. Sanchez-Greenberg held executive roles at New Futuro, Tribune Company, V&V Supremo Foods, and Seagram Company. Her work and perspectives have been featured in Crain’s, Forbes, and other industry publications.
