Full Biography
Alice Wang is a Portfolio Manager on the Investment team of New Catalyst, where her primary responsibilities include the sourcing, valuation, diligence, structuring, and execution of investments in addition to general partner value creation services.
Prior to joining New Catalyst, Alice was a founding team member of the Global Private Equity Secondaries strategy at APG, one of the world’s largest pension investors. At APG, she structured and underwrote a wide breadth of private equity secondaries deals, including both GP-led and LP fund portfolio transactions spanning across buyout, growth, and venture capital assets. In addition to investment responsibilities, she was involved at APG in strategic initiatives such as refining business processes and hiring. While at APG, she co-headed the Women’s Forum, a networking group at APG US focused on fostering professional development and increasing the pipeline of diverse talent across APG, catalyzing long-term partnerships with organizations like Girls Who Invest and WAVE. Prior to APG, Alice was in investment banking at Barclays.
Alice received her Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business. She currently serves on the executive board of the University of Michigan Alumni Club - New York chapter.
