Full Biography
Ali is the Head of Investor Relations at New Catalyst and is responsible for fundraising, managing relationships with New Catalyst’s limited partners, and helping New Catalyst’s Partner Firms build high quality investor relations functions.
Ali has over a decade of experience working with institutional investors in the asset management industry. Prior to New Catalyst, Ali served as the Director of Investor Relations at Newlight Partners, an emerging middle-market private equity firm, from 2020-2024. Ali also served on Newlight’s Operating Committee. Prior to working at Newlight, Ali spent nearly six years at BlackRock where she most recently served as a Vice President within the Institutional Client Business managing relationships with family offices, foundations, and endowments. Ali began her career as an analyst at Interdealer Trading Solutions in 2012.
Additionally, Ali works closely with the non-profit Him for Her where her efforts assist in connecting board building investors and CEOs with diverse board qualified talent. Ali received a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University.
